The Foundation for Jewish Philanthropies (FJP) recently welcomed Linda Barat to its professional development team as LIFE & LEGACY® @ Buffalo Coordinator / Client Relations Manager.

Linda returned to Buffalo from the New York City area after working and volunteering for numerous Jewish non-profit organizations and raising her family there.  Linda quickly dove into volunteering in the community, working with Kosher Meals on Wheels, Jewish Family Services of Western New York, Shea’s Performing Arts Center and serving on the board of Kehillat Ohr Tzion (KOT).

“I’m so glad to be back home and excited about the opportunity to serve the Buffalo Jewish community, especially at the Foundation,” Linda remarked. In her new Foundation role, Linda is the lead contact and liaison between FJP, the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, and our local participating agencies and organizations. In addition, she is responsible for developing client awareness, engagement strategies, and managing individual relationships with current and prospective clients in Jewish Buffalo.
