Building new connections for families and children through Jewish Buffalo.

Young Families

PJ Library encourages Jewish families with young children to explore Jewish literature together by sending an age appropriate Jewish content book (once a month) to enrolled children from birth through age 8 ½ years old.  All families raising Jewish children are eligible to receive PJ Library books. Please note that families identifying as Messianic Jewish are not eligible for PJ Library.  We welcome everyone, regardless of eligibility, to access the PJ Library website for our book lineups, craft ideas and reading tips.

LiNK Jewish Buffalo is also part of PJ Our Way – the next chapter of PJ Library, for kids ages 8 ½-11. Every month, kids visit the PJ Our Way website to choose a book from a selection of four high-quality titles that have been reviewed by a panel of PJ educators, parents, and kids. On the Parent Blog, parents are invited to read about each book and find suggestions for family conversations.

Created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF), PJ Library and PJ Our Way are free for your family because it is
funded by local philanthropists, PJ Alliance Partners, and the Buffalo Jewish Federation, in partnership with HGF.
