Hadar Borden is receiving the Ruth & Milton Kahn Emerging Leadership Award at the 2020 Campaign for Jewish Buffalo Kick off Event on September 25, 2019.  This award recognizes and invests in an emerging leader who demonstrates a commitment to the growth and sustainability of our vibrant and caring Buffalo Jewish Community.

Hadar is the director of the University at Buffalo’s Blackstone LaunchPad powered by Techstars, a campus-based entrepreneurship program. She serves as the director of the WNY Prosperity Fellowship Program, a leadership development program that seeks to recruit and retain entrepreneurial-minded students to contribute to economic development in WNY. A mother of two young sons, Hadar is married to David Borden and resides in Amherst. She is a trustee on the Federation board; contributes to The Center for Jewish Engagement and Learning; is a member of the board of Explore Buffalo, The Tool Library, and Hillel of Buffalo, and was recognized by Buffalo Business First as a member of the 2013 Class of Forty under 40.
