Chocolate toffee matzo crack

One of my favorite Passover desserts that we’re making this week is something that my mother makes every year: Chocolate toffee matzo crack! This fan favorite Passover dessert is a delicious sweet and salty treat to end your seder with.

To make chocolate toffee matzo crack, you will need matzo, unsalted butter, dark brown sugar, semi-sweet chocolate chips, pecans, and kosher salt. If you do not like pecans, you could also use sliced almonds. Just make sure you have enough space in your freezer or refrigerator to let your matzo crack chill for at least 45 minutes. After chilling, you can use a knife to cut the matzo crack or break it apart with your hands. I think the latter is easier (and more fun) but cutting the matzo crack can help make the pieces the same size. Enjoy your chocolate toffee matzo crack!
