Building new connections for families and children through Jewish Buffalo.

Young Families

PJ Library encourages Jewish families with young children to explore Jewish literature and values by sending them an age-appropriate book with Jewish content each month. To enroll children ages birth through 8 3/4 years old, click HERE.  All families raising Jewish children are eligible to receive PJ Library books.  We welcome everyone, regardless of eligibility, to access the PJ Library website for book suggestions, crafts and holiday celebration ideas.

PJ Our Way – the next chapter of PJ Library, is for kids ages 8 3/4 – 11. Parents are encouraged to enroll their children in PJ Our Way at the age of 8 1/2 by clicking HERE. From the 1st through the 10th of each month, kids can visit the PJ Our Way website to choose a book from a selection of four high-quality titles that have been reviewed by a panel of PJ educators, parents, and kids. On the Parent Blog, parents are invited to read about each book and find suggestions for family conversations.

Created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF), PJ Library and PJ Our Way are FREE for your family because they are funded by local philanthropists, PJ Alliance Partners, and the Buffalo Jewish Federation, in partnership with HGF.

PJ Library and PJ Our Way are more than just books.  Throughout the year, we gather for special programs where families can meet new friends, celebrate Jewish holidays and have fun!  See the calendar below for upcoming events. PJ is for ANY family raising Jewish children: We’ve got you covered!
