Yesterday, we started our morning in Tiberias overlooking the beautiful Sea of Galilee. After another delicious Israeli breakfast, we departed for Tsfat where we talked about Shalom Bayit – Peace and Wholeness in the Home. We then toured through this mystical city visiting various synagogues, enjoying the artists market, and some of the best falafel in Israel. We finished at the Tsfat Mikvah & Education Center. The day was so great we only managed to grab one great group shot in Tsfat (with our Buffalo Bills flag)! After lengthy ride, we concluded Wednesday in Jerusalem at another wonderful restaurant. Thursday began with a trip to Yad Vashem. For some, it was their first time. For others, it was their first time as a parent. We have so much gratitude for our incredible tour guide whose parents both survived the Holocaust. We were fortunate to hear their stories. We walked across the street to Har Herzel, Israel’s National cemetery, and paid our respect to Herzel. After a quick lunch break, we toured the Old City of Jerusalem and then met back up with the full Momentum group where we each received a personalized siddur. We ended our day with time to pray and reflect at the Kotel. It was a long but great day. We can’t wait for Shabbat!
