Jeff Clark became the Executive Director of Temple Beth Zion this past July. A 5th generation member, Jeff’s Bar Mitzvah was held in the beautiful sanctuary on Delaware Ave. His father is a past president, his grandmother worked in the gift shop, and her grandmother was among the eldest members. TBZ has always held a special place in Jeff’s heart.
Jeff is thrilled to be part of one of the oldest and largest reform synagogues in the nation. Over the past 4 months, he has helped to add new member families, watch the PALS-Kadimah preschool program grow, and add resources into a thriving religious school. Jeff reports that “great things are happening and it is an incredibly exciting time to be part of our community.” In the coming months, new events will be offered including a fun DIY paint party, wine tasting, and a first ever awards ceremony to recognize TBZ and community members working hard to live out the mission.
When Jeff’s not busy working out of the Broder Center, he enjoys playing soccer or hockey, and going out for meals with his family. But hands down, his absolute favorite activity is taking his son Ari to Water Babies at the JCC!
