Fun on a Sunday morning for pre-k kids and a grown-up! Parents and grandparents are invited to join Rabbi Brent and Jill Gutmann for an engaging, interactive, Jewish-themed gathering of Pre-K children and the grown-ups who love them. Doors open at 9:15 AM for Free Play in the gym. The little ones get out their wiggles on our riding toys and other tot-sized gym equipment. Both grown-ups and little ones enjoy the playful atmosphere and making friends. At 10 AM, we move to the Library for stories and songs, followed by some easy arts & crafts and a yummy snack. Two leaders of Roots will give an interactive presentation to Jewish and general community leadership: Roots is an Israeli-Palestinian grassroots initiative for understanding, nonviolence and transformation based in Judea & Samaria/the West Bank - is a unique network of local Palestinians and Israelis who have come to see each other as the partners we both need to make changes to end our conflict. Based on mutual recognition of each People's national identity and connection to the Land, we are challenging the assumptions our communities hold about each other, building trust and creating a new discourse around the conflict in our respective societies. There will be a presentation, Q&A and time for break out groups.
