“Pioneering Excellence – A Spotlight on Israel’s Startup Scene”
The Blackstone LaunchPad at UB will be hosting a virtual conversation on Israeli startups with UB student Natan Weitzman and other Israeli leaders in the startup world. Natan is working on his BS in Engineering Physics with a Minor in Mathematics as a Presidential and Honors Scholar. He is also the Co-Founder & CEO of Renova, which is a cloud-based platform that makes designing and remodeling homes and other spaces stress-free and accessible to everyone.

Prof. Ed Steinfeld, SUNY Distinguished Professor in the UB Dept of Architecture
Prof. Ed Steinfeld will be giving a presentation on universal design and religion using synagogues as a case study. He will address design for disability, aging, gender identity, and security, and will feature Temple Beth Tzedek in Amherst and Congregation Simchas Torah, an LGBTQ+ synagogue in Manhattan.
