This basic introductory Hebrew reading course is for Beginners interested in learning the Hebrew alphabet, grammar, and vocabulary with a focus on reading prayers for Shabbat, Synagogue Services, and traditional blessings. My Jewish life is an intimate, introspective class that invites participants to explore options for integrating Judaism into everyday life. Through text study, site visits, and hands-on experiences, we will discover Judaism in the synagogue, at home, at work, in nature, and in relationships. Note, the locations for each session will depend on the topic, but will be in the vicinity of Amherst and Buffalo. Facilitated by Rabbi Sara Rich.
