Shana Tova! I would like to personally wish each and every one of you a very happy, healthy, and sweet new year! Just because Rosh Hashanah has passed does not mean the sweetness ends! I truly love dipping apples in honey. The flavors pair so well together! 

Honey cakes are one of my favorite holiday desserts. However, they are difficult to perfect. They can come out very dry. Sometimes, the flavor isn’t as strong as you would like. Out of all of the recipes I have tried, this one definitely is at the top of my list. This honey cake is moist and flavorful, with the perfect amount of crispiness on the edge.

Honey cakes are the perfect way to continue bringing sweetness into the new year! This will be a dessert that everyone will love. I hope everyone had a lovely Rosh Hashanah surrounded by people you love! I wish you all an easy and meaningful fast on Yom Kippur!
