Our last day in Israel was bittersweet. We started the morning by talking about what we are bringing home with us. The beauty of the Momentum experience is that it doesn’t end after our time in Israel. We now get to spend the year learning and growing together as moms. We then traveled to Ammunition Hill where we heard from a panel of female soldiers (all but one were Lone Soldiers) about their journey to how they got to where they are today. We had a few minutes to chat and give them homemade cards from our own kids – the soldiers were so touched. Our day eventually brought us to the closing ceremony to celebrate each other and all that we had accomplished together. Our “Jewish goodbye” was in picture form… as we just had to get a few more in with some new Israeli friends we had made on our trip. We don’t know where the rest of our year long journey will take us, but we couldn’t be more excited for the ride. Thank you for this incredible gift!
