Henry Bawnik

was born in Poland in 1926. He was 13 and living in Lodz when Germany invaded Poland on Sept. 1, 1939. Mr. Bawnik survived the Lodz Ghetto, four concentration camps, a death march and the bombing of SS Cap Arcona. He came the US – Hartford and then Buffalo, NY. He and his wife, Linda have three daughters, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
