The Holocaust Education Resource Organization is hosting an open house for the Simon Wiesenthal’s Mobile Museum of Tolerance (MMOT). Fully funded by the New York State legislature, MMOT is a free, state-of-the-art traveling museum, the first-of-its-kind in New York. Utilizing innovative technology and interactive lessons, the MMOT offers immersive and engaging age-appropriate learning opportunities led by an experienced New York State educator. It provides state-standard and curriculum-aligned lessons for students in grades 5-12.
The MMOT offers five workshops that cover the critical topics of:
• The Holocaust • Civil Rights
• Propaganda • Discrimination
• Hate • Dehumanization
