This 10-class series confronts the challenge of creating a Jewish and democratic public space in the modern State of Israel through Jewish text and leading intellectual voices from the renowned Shalom Hartman Institute. It is a day on which we read Jewish teachings celebrating nature and our responsibility to take care of our environment. In Israel, trees are planted.
