This 10-class series confronts the challenge of creating a Jewish and democratic public space in the modern State of Israel through Jewish text and leading intellectual voices from the renowned Shalom Hartman Institute. Thought-provoking discussion led by Rabbi Brent Gutmann. Members and non-members are welcome. Tu BiShvat Light Dinner & Seder

It is a day on which we read Jewish teachings celebrating nature and our responsibility to take care of our environment. In Israel, trees are planted. In collaboration with the Buffalo Board of Rabbis and Cantors, this exceptional course is designed for: couples of multiple faiths considering marriage, individuals interested in conversion, or individuals (Jewish and non-Jewish) interested in learning more about Jewish religion and history.
