Lag B’Omer falls on the 33rd day of the Omer, a minor festival falling between Passover and Shavuot, commemorating the end of a plague which killed thousands of Rabbi Akiva’s students; also the yahrzeit of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, author of the Zohar.

Join KOT and Kadimah Scholars @ Park for Lag BaOmer BBQ & Bonfire 5:00pm - 7:00pm on Tuesday, May 9th Enjoy Kosher BBQ, music, outdoor games, a bonfire & marshmallows.Hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, and watermelon will be served starting at 5:15pm.Bring a lawn chair to enjoy the event! Free and open to all in the community. Donations are appreciated.
