Through texts, conversation and reflection, we will explore our shared vision for a beloved community, a phrase popularized by Martin Luther King Jr. in his work towards achieving racial and social justice in America. We will think critically about how we can use allyship to help us create a beloved community here in Buffalo, and set aside time to think about our personal commitment to allyship and how to maintain that commitment to help us work together to create a beloved community.
