Vegetable Stir Fry

This week, we had the third cooking class at Hillel of Buffalo. Macie taught us how to make a vegetable stir fry with teriyaki tofu. We learned how to properly cut vegetables into clean and even slices. It is really important to have nice and even cuts to have your food cooked evenly.

Imagine walking into a room filled with 25 college students and seeing them enthusiastically talking about eating vegetables. Sounds fake, right? Well, it certainly is not fake. We were all talking about our favorite vegetables and how we are going to adjust the stir fry to fit our exact liking.

Stir fry is a wonderful dish to make whether you are a busy college student or any one who wants to have a quick and easy dinner to feed a lot of people. We added tofu to our culinary creation to provide a strong source of protein. Use your favorite sauce at the end and mix it all together. Serve your stir fry with rice or rice noodles and enjoy your nutritious meal!
