This week, we shine our spotlight on one of our two KOLOT Fellows, Talia Fuld. KOLOT was established to honor the memory of Federation Past President Leslie Shuman Kramer and underscore her extraordinary leadership amplifying women’s voices. The KOLOT Fellowship is one of the inaugural programs supported by the Fund.
Originally from Queens, NY, Talia is a graduate student at University at Buffalo, pursuing degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Business Administration, and recently was honored as a Western New York Prosperity Fellow. This prestigious fellowship at UB combines financial assistance and professional experiences, to aid and accelerate students’ commitments to their careers, and inspire innovation and economic development in the Western New York Area.
During her time in Buffalo, Talia has quickly become involved in both Chabad and Hillel. As a KOLOT Fellow, she will be attending the Jewish Federations of North America General Assembly in DC this month with many other Federation leaders and our second KOLOT Fellow, Alyssa Strang. At the GA, Talia will join other emerging Jewish leaders in learning about pressing issues, best practices, and adaptive solutions.
Mazal Tov, Talia!
