This 10-class series confronts the challenge of creating a Jewish and democratic public space in the modern State of Israel through Jewish text and leading intellectual voices from the renowned Shalom Hartman Institute. Thought-provoking discussion led by Rabbi Brent Gutmann. Members and non-members are welcome. Fun on a Sunday morning for pre-k kids and a grown-up! Parents and grandparents are invited to join Rabbi Brent and Jill Gutmann for an engaging, interactive, Jewish-themed gathering of Pre-K children and the grown-ups who love them. Doors open at 9:15 AM for Free Play in the gym. The little ones get out their wiggles on our riding toys and other tot-sized gym equipment. Both grown-ups and little ones enjoy the playful atmosphere and making friends. At 10 AM, we move to the Library for stories and songs, followed by some easy arts & crafts and a yummy snack. Members and Non-Members are welcome to attend. Registration for all 7 sessions is $70, but we are always happy to welcome walk-ins at $18/class per child! CLICK HERE TO REGISTER

Take a deep dive into the hot medical issues of the day with bioethicist Jill Gutmann, MA, MPH. Whether it is a discussion of the impact on the health of supply chains or the cost of prescription drugs, you will be guided through an engaging discussion while looking at the science, politics, Jewish commentary, and other relevant sources to frame your opinion. Never knowing what the timely topic will be until class, this fun, informative and engaging course is sure to make you think and wish the discussion could continue long after the session has ended.
