Passover is right around the corner! It’s time to start thinking of all of the Passover-friendly meals you can make! There are so many delicious Passover recipes. Of course, we have to start with a classic that everyone loves!
Matzo brei is something that reminds me of my family. Oftentimes, during Passover, my grandma would make the best matzo brei. She would make sweet cinnamon-filled matzo brei for breakfast. Some of my favorite childhood memories are waking up in the morning and smelling her matzo brei and running downstairs to see her.
Matzo brei can be sweet or savory. I prefer a sweet matzo brei and my mom likes a savory matzo brei wit sauteed onions more. I remember my brother wanting to have his with chocolate syrup and whipped cream, but I like to pair my matzo brei with maple syrup. It is like Passover pancakes or french toast. Whichever your heart desires!
