Marni Marciano
September 13, 2024

Today we shine our spotlight on Marni Marciano, this year’s recipient of the Ruth & Milton Kahn Emerging Leadership Award from the Buffalo Jewish Federation.

Marni’s journey is a powerful testament to dedication and impact in our community.  Her commitment to Jewish values is deeply personal and profoundly impactful. When her son, Max, faced an antisemitic comment from a classmate, she was moved to act and helped to build and lead the “Let’s Talk About Antisemitism” conference in 2023 and the “Let’s Talk About Israel” conference in April of this year. As Kirstie Henry from Federation’s Board of Governors notes, Marni’s leadership is marked by kindness, tenacity, and the lessons she shares from her life experiences.

Professionally, Marni serves as the Field Access Lead for Pfizer, where she helps families access crucial medications. As a volunteer, she has held several key positions at LiNK Jewish Buffalo, including Chair of PJ Library and Vice Chair of LiNK, and is actively involved in Kehillat Ohr Tzion.

Join us in celebrating Marni on Tuesday, September 24, at the UB Center for the Arts. The evening starts with cocktails and food stations at 5:30 PM, followed by a 45-minute program at 7:00 PM to honor Marni and her contributions. The after-party, beginning at 7:45 PM, will feature more cocktails, desserts, and music. Tickets are $80 per person, with a minimum $100 gift to the 2025 Annual Campaign requested.
