UN Holocaust Remembrance Day

January 22 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Presenting a book talk by former Washington Post war correspondent, Jack Fairweather, on his 2019 book, The Volunteer:  One Man, an Underground Army, and the Secret Mission to Destroy Auschwitz, about resistance fighter, Witold Pilecki, who infiltrated Auschwitz, smuggling out reports to the Allies on the death within its gates. A book signing will follow.

The Auschwitz Album Exhibit from Yad Vashem will be on display. Afterwards the exhibit will be on display at Canisius College Library Exhibition Hallway for the month of February.

This program will take place in the Regis Room of the Richard Winter Student Center (at Canisius College).
