PJ Library Sukkah Hop

October 16 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Have you ever been on a sukkah hop? The whole family is invited to tour some of our community friend’s sukkah. (The temporary dwelling we eat in for the 8 days of Sukkot). We will see how different families decorate their sukkahs and we will have a chance to smell some etrog and shake some lulavs too! On Sukkot, tradition involves the etrog (a fruit similar to a lemon) and the lulav (a bouquet made up of palm, myrtle and willow branches). People shake the lulav in a special way in their sukkah, to send a blessing out to all creation.
