Mussar is a Jewish path of contemplative practices and exercises that have evolved over the past thousand years.  Through Mussar, each individual works on their own personal self-directed curriculum in an effort to practice the way they want to be in the world.

Mussar: A Jewish Toolbox for Life
This program includes group and partner text study, meditation, and daily practices.  Mussar study and practice focuses on cultivating inner traits, Middot in Hebrew.  The Middot introduced in this course are: Humility, Gratitude, Patience, Loving Kindness, Strength, Simplicity, and Truth

Through this Mussar cohort specifically designed for young professional adults, you will:

  • Increase awareness of self through a Jewish lens
  • Build confidence to be the best person you can be
  • Engage in conversation to help build positive relationships personally and professionally

Facilitator: Nicole Bard
Cost: FREE (thanks to our generous donors)
Seven sessions will be held in the Center for Jewish Engagement and Learning Office (2nd Floor JCC Benderson Building)
