Event Navigation
The Jewish Repertory Theatre is proud to present a filmed staged reading of The Year My Mother Came Back, by Alice Eve Cohen, available for digital download, February 4-24, 2021. This is the third selection in a series of Five Staged Readings, performed on the JRT stage and seen, through the magic of video, wherever audiences choose to enjoy. This production will replace JRT’s previously scheduled What I Thought I Knew, by Alice Eve Cohen.
Thirty years after her death, Alice’s mother appears to her, and continues to do so, during the hardest year Alice has had to face. A love story. A ghost story. This play will speak to anybody who has ever loved their mother, struggled with their mother, lost their mother, or dreamt of reconciling with their mother.
