How has COVID-19 affected the WNY Job Market?

December 21 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

How has COVID-19 affected the WNY Job Market?  What is Next?
Moderated by Richard Lipsitz, WNY Area Labor Federation, President Emeritus

COVID-19 is challenging WNY job and labor markets. While hourly wages have increased in certain sectors, vacancies and open positions remain. Recent hospital workers strike affects life for WNY members and more strikes are planned.  Listen to area experts discuss the impact of COVID-19 on labor and employment. What can we expect next?

How this relates to JCRC work: JCRC is dedicated to ensuring a strong civic society. One of our roles is to educate our community on issues of social justice. The Jewish community has a long history of advocating for labor. JCRC aims to explain the many factors COVID-19 ripples have had on job and labor markets in WNY. A webinar with trusted partners and experts will shed light on this complicated reality.
