Celebrate Sukkot at the JCC

October 13 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Learn about Sukkot, practice the mitzvah of shaking the Lulav and Etrog, share stories, sing songs, and nosh. Invite the ancestors to join us, the Ushpizin, while creating simple decroations for the sukkah. Move gently to the letters of Sukkot, standing or seated, through “Otiyot Hayyot,” the living letters*. Literally embody Sukkot! Relax. Schmooze. Join us.

Program facilitated by Yonina Andrea Foster, Ph.D., creative, spiritual and ritual leader, educator, songstress.

*Otiyot Hayyot , the Hebrew Letter Movements for Healing and Renewal, was created by T’ai Chi master, Yehudit Goldfarb, Ph.D.

Tickets: $10.00—Includes Fruit and Harvest Salads by Buffalo Kosher Gourmet.
Tickets may be purchased at either JCC Member Services Desk or www.jccbuffalo.org.

Program will take place outside in the Sukkah and Community Garden. In case of inclement weather the event will be moved inside.
