Antisemitism and Racism in the age of Covid-19 Threats and Opportunities

May 11 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Please join this virtual Zoom gathering to learn about current hotspots of antisemitism, the importance of building relationships before they are needed, and concrete tools our local Buffalo Jewish community can use now.

Stephanie Hausner, Deputy Director of Israel Action Network is an expert and consultant on antisemitism, BDS and fostering strategic relationships.  A former councilwoman, she was named of of Rockland County’s “40 under 40” and “The Jewish Week 36 under 36.”

Israel Action Network identifies issues and needs, build coalitions, shape strategies, develop messaging, produce materials, train allies, and mobilize activists – all to protect Jews and the Jewish state from efforts to delegitimize Israel, including BDS, and the rising tide of antisemitism.

Stephanie will highlight:

  • Current national status of antisemitism during the pandemic
  • Importance of JCRCs and other Jewish organizations
  • National and local opportunities to build bridges
  • Suggested tools and strategies local communities can use
