It’s Shavuot – the time of the year where we get to indulge in all things dairy! Traditionally, at celebrations, there are cheese blintzes, cheesecake, kugel, and a bread called siete cielos, which means seven heavens and is supposed to represent Mt. Sinai.

This week, get ready to celebrate Shavuot! Be a part of the preparation and learn how to make the most delicious cheese blintzes. You will need to make a thin pancake that is similar to a crepe and fill it with your cheese filling. Top it off with a sweet and tangy fruit sauce to make it complete.

A blintz recipe is a great one to keep in your back pocket. Just because it is a traditional Shavuot food does not mean that you can’t enjoy it all year round. Like a crepe, you can make it with sweet or savory fillings. Blintzes will become a special treat in your home for sure! I promise, you will not want to skip out on this recipe!
