It’s that time of year…gifts from the heart, made by your hands are so appreciated, no matter the recipient. This recipe is easy and delicious, and a sweet way to say thank you!
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 lb. nuts of your choice, roasted for 15 minutes in a 325 degree oven and cooled
• 2 egg whites
• 1 c sugar
• 1 tsp bourbon (or vanilla)
• 1 stick salted butter, melted
DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Have a sheet pan at the ready.

Beat egg whites till stiff. Add sugar and bourbon. Continue beating till combined. Gently fold in cooled, roasted nuts.

Coat a cookie sheet bottom with melted butter. Place nuts on top and stir to combine. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes total, stirring thoroughly every 10 minutes till done.

Store in an airtight container.
